"Is there nothing that you would love to say?"
"Well then that's just amusing..."]
Dreaming of dreams
It takes but a moment to meet someone,
Yet a lifespan would never be enough to convey,
As shapes change and disipate, leaving no one
But the eager to sit patiently and survey.
I've had so many dreams so far in and through time,
Dreams as sweet as candy and as wrotten as wet wood,
Yet I'd like to share a dream in a dream of mine,
Where all could fly while I just stood.
It was all covered in white on top of the Snowy Mountain,
Above the waters of a lifeless fountain,
Near which golden pigeons picked on the ground,
And all I could do was smile and cry at what they had found.
Now the lesson of the writting here,
Is that no one is ever far or ever near,
They're just caught in their own dream, probably dreaming still
Waiting for their inner flame to burn through their chosen steel.
Calvin Harris ft Florence-Sweet nothing
Patience is a virtue indeed,
Yet when one lingers for too long,
Even time will start singing that sad song,
With lyrics telling of the dream one did not heed.
